id like to see how much pressure the fancy cardboard mounts will stand up to in that press u put the diff in. :lol:
33" muddies, 50mm body lift, ball joint flip, quick release front sway bar,40mm lifted rear dobi springs and new shocks,custom sill body armor,custom front bar.

Another little update
Some elves came in overnight and replaced my cardboard panhard mounts with steel

Its good to see that I wasnt the only one that thought hilux chassis needed a bit of extra bracing in the front where the old shocks used to mount 8)

What's a ball park figure for those fuel cells? I was thinking one of those for my zuk (maybe 20 lt)

I paid through the nose from Cardwells - $300 for a 60lt

Little update, it seems like I've been spending heaps of time on this thing but not much is getting done :oops: :lol:
anyways, got a fuel pump bracket made and welded on tonite, also a frame and straps to hold the fuel cell in.

Radiator has gone away to be modified, and a shroud made for the fans. Got a EFI fuel filter sorted.
Trying to do stuff that needs to be done to get her fired up :mrgreen:

Had to make up a banjo fitting to join my -8 fuel line to the injector rail, not an off the shelf part because of the mix of metric and AN, plus it has the pulsation dampener in it as well.

Been a big slack with pics lately, so here's a few

Radiator basically will go here, shroud is done and fans mounted

Finished rebuilding transfer and duals, installed 4.7 gears in the back case, 205:1 crawl ratio 8)

Started mocking up a basic exhaust outta the factory bits and some tube

Next is to build rocksliders/cab mounts, cab will be solid mounted on the rockslider outriggers, then drop the cab on and mount the radiator on the rear wall of the cab, then plumb it in. After that, build a basic dash, install a battery and FIRE IT UP!! :twisted:

Been a big slack with pics lately. Missed a week and a half doin anything on it, 14hr days at work :shock: job all done now so were back onto it.

Built some sliders, and notched the sills to drop the cab a bit lower

3", had to buy a whole length so I got stuff suitable for driveshafts as well as sliders :lol:
