Possibly the u-joints in the driveline somewhere (most likely the rear pinion one).
I just bought a new toy for my wife, her trusty old Honda was starting to be not so trusty. Nearly gave me a scare during the week with one cylinder dropping off completely for some reason (really bad vibrations as it was running on three cylinders). She just drove it like that all day long

Cleaned the plugs and all that I could at 8:00pm with a little bit of drizzle, problem went away. Then spotted a few rust spot developing as I was looking for the problem. So off it goes (not worth spending the money to fix rust, it all comes back eventually).
So on Saturday, we traded it in and got another Jeep (for her this time).

AHH... no that would make it much much worse for you down there.

Nope, if we don't drain our lakes feeding the north, there'd be plenty for the south.

Interesting that Otago gets the windfarms. The already have the Biggest hydro electric plants in NZ. How about we share it around a bit

I woke up this morning in my nice warm bed and wandered to the shitta for a whizz in my nice warm house as the heat pump had warmed it nicely and then had a nice hot shower and got dressed for work in my nice toasty warm clothes and then wandered outside to see a mean frost and thought how COLD it must of been overnight for those fullas who were tenting it up at Rallywoods, coz whatever the temp is at my house would guarantee to be 5 degrees colder in the bush. OUCH.

Got my winch modded a tad on the 60. Chopper payed for his engine by doing the work on it.

Whipped the headlights out of the parts truck but haven't swapped them over as I might as well do it at the same time as the extra bodylift, avoiding doing it twice.
Swapped the (four) trucks around to get the only usable one into the garage. After putting the trailer up the back of the property found I had enough room to squeeze one more vee-hickle in the driveway, so on Monday went down to Murch' to look at another parts truck.
My wife is not overly impressed!

Gotta love being on holiday
Have spent time every day in the past week, including all three weekend days in the shed working on the toy. Upshot is all the new brackets and mounts are now fixed to the chassis and axles, primer is on and tomorrow it'll all be black

.
Only suzuki cross member left is the centre body mount member. New engine mounts, new suspension mounts (coils), integrated winch mount/front cross member, shorterened rear.
Plan is to get it back together and the body on tomorrow. Then onto sorting loom and rollcage. May start build thread soon.

Went down Haast way on a cub trip. Friday we drove out to Barn Bay, real beautiful spot, never ceases to impress me even though the drive in is getting easier. Saturday we went along the cattle tracks along Jacksons river, again another good day, raining all day but fun none the less playing in some serious mudholes, all trucks requiring winching, that is those that didn't take the chicken track

Sunday we went into coppermine creek, had a look at the hut, drove up to the gorge and back down through the mudholes. Again serious mudholes but throuh tight trees this time. Left at 4am this morning and back in CHCH by 1130. If you ever get the chance to head in there do so, you will not beeive how beautiful the area is. Oh and you need a winch.
