Mate, I'm only a learner

It had a busted cam belt and tensioner and had broken the camshaft bearing caps when it let go. All fixed from out of stock.

Picked it up in Kaikohe Sat morning. Had it home by 4 and running at 11:30 Sunday night

Still need Front Shocks, some intercooler plumbing, a glow plug relay and possibly glow plugs. I'll get the auto elec to check it out tomorrow.

Good form. Standard 2.5 repair then. It is quite convienient how 2.5's just break the caps when the cam belt lets go :D

Crickey yorick she looks a bit fancy for you guys. Its got seats and sunroof and door handles and all the comfort stuff. Good thing though its a cool colour. I sent you a PM a while back about the speedo reducer do da thingy, not sure if you got the PM. Not to worried I think my speedo is pretty close at the moment. Hope all is well, will have to catch up and swap some paint with your new truck. :D

Sheep skins went in today. I splashed out on Merino ones, almost seems a shame to drive with yer clothes on! However have to allow fer other unclothed back country activities. It even has central locking that works. The down side is it has too many pedals and one of those stick things in the middle that you have waggle around all the time.

The colour clinched it for me. Now if anyone sees me doin' anything silly I can say "Na it was that other fulla, trucks the same colour, easy mistake to make!"

Robinson Instruments in Auckland, but if it's getting a warrant all right I wouldn't worry about it.

Damn right, We might have to do a Ngaroma trip one weekend. Of course Merc would probably want us to wait til the G Wagen is up and running....but then he could always take the Lada in the meantime!

Yep, where ever that is, i'd be keen. Just got to sort a front bar. I still have the standard bumper on at the factory height with the ends removed. Once thats done I am fairly well sorted.
The body lift is done and the 33's are on. I am looking at doing a suspension lift at the moment and am just doing some research on the impact on my hydraulic lift. :D

two doors. rimu with resident borer!!
remove varnish from both sides of one, and one side of the other.
if it wasnt fer the borer, they would collapse in a heap.
still, gonna look pretty when finished.
