and why quadjet?
Done a google and now know what a truck avenger is,
A couple of people I've spoken to have gone to the quadrajets and found them much better than the holleys. I havent run into any probs with the holley flooding yet but the conversion was only done 2-3 months ago
I had the holley rekitted, the engine was in an old 40 series when I brought it and I drove it back from Whakatane to Wgtn with with blocked idle jets and a flat battery. The guy that certified my conversion reckoned the best thing to do with a crook holley is to throw it away and buy a new holley...
It leaks gas when it sits and I'm only getting around 12mpg out of it so I think its got to be up for replacement
dunno if a truck avenger could meet the budget though?

Hi there guys n gals. Just a wee something I found out with these snorkles.
I have one of the ones from Delta on my Terrano, and had to remove it when I went in for a windscreen replacement. This was a real hassle esp as the truck is still under warrantee and all work has to be done by recognised pros.
Well just something to bear in mind for future reference.
