No pics on hand, but it was built by Kerry H at Topgear Auto Tech in 2004 from memory. It will be coming off again when I replace my motor and gearbox in the near future. Got a I/C being built at the moment to help make the new motor last.

Are you getting a Laminova one built?

Nah, just a normal top-mount water to air with some plenum mods. Wouldn't mind a Laminova, but bit hard to justify for a road truck.

J pipes will work, but nowhere near as well as a decent manifold. Turbos feed off exhaust heat and pulses, the extra un-necessary length damps out the pulses and radiates away the heat.

To cope with manifold expansion Isuzu have the holes further from the centre getting bigger and bigger, the manifold slides on the gaskets as it expands and contracts. Big problem is people over-torquing the manifold bolts/nuts and not letting it move.

We are doing the same for a truck I help with. Custom plenum but a big front mount as it is not a comp truck either. I'd be interested to see what you are planning woth the plenum to see if it is similar to what we are doing?

You would have seen the top-mount water to air setup that Heath Lawson had on his GU comp truck? Similar to that but done for a bit less dough, but hopefully as much go.

Looks average to me. Next time wipe off the excess gasket goo instead to puddling it around with your fingers.
