a lot of imports come out with white OffroadExpress stickers, are you sure they are referring to the blue ones that say www.offroadexpress.co.nz , the vast majority of ORE members I have met and seen out and about have been responsible so where is this coming from?.

They are perceived as irresponsible and want to be 4 wheel drivers. I was in Reefton a couple of weeks ago and the community is talking about putting warratahs in the ground to stop the irresponsible action of off-road express members.

I am only telling you the feedback I am receiving.

Cheers Richard

Very interesting

Only thing is a lot of jap inports have off-road express on them when they arrive here. I see them all the time. Is that what people are thinking that every 4x4 with off road express is part of this site....????? could be  The ones i have on truck from this site are blue and the inports ones are black or silver....cheers abbo

I closely associate with the Canterbury Landrover owners club, The nelson 4x4 club , Marlbourough and Buller clubs and there is no confusion. They know exactly who they are talking about . A member of the ChCh jeep club who lives in Reefton told me about the community feeling down there and he was not talking about Jap imports.

"Offroad express"is not a club, so therefore there are no rules and anything goes.

The club is "KIWI 4x4" and they they take a responsible attitude. The only problem is they don't run trips because people don't want to be bound by rules and be under the" NZ 4 wheel drive ass" and therefore have to act responsibly so everyone runs private trips under ORE and thats where the problem starts.

Cheer Richard

I personally have no problem putting ORE stickers on my safari, if there are people out there who want to be narrow minded idiots, so be it, I'm comfortable knowing that I act responsibly when off road with or without stickers. If people want to judge me for the stickers on my truck, I couldn't care less.
I've seen irresponsible behaviour from vehicles with the Marl, 4wd club stickers on, but I'm not childish enough to say that all in the club act like that.

What a load of horse shit!! I know you are just repeating what you heard Richard but here's some feedback you can give your "friend" next time.

- Most active members of ORE are also club members of one 4x4 club and include EVERY club in NZ

- I have seen many idiot 4x4 drivers and guess what, many of those idiots were club members who thought that because they were experienced that the rules didn't apply to them.

- Just because I have a sticker that dosen't mean shit!

- I saw a car with the Star of David sticker on the back, it cut me off, I now hate all Jew's and slag them off, it's the same thing

- I heard it was fact that all West Coasters were inbred retards, does that make it true??

Oh and now I want a farkin sticker!! Then lets see if some bottom feeding two tooth inbred has the balls to tell me I'm irresponsible because I think that his parents were irresponsible for breeding in the first place. Oh but I would also thank him for providing such a convincing argument for forced sterilisation.

We are sweet up here, i have had the www. sticker on all my trucks and its been fine.

P.R and others stance is well justified due to actions of a few retards in the general public shit stirring.

Saying that though, if you have any sticker on your truck advertising a club or what ever, you instantly become a flagship for that organisation. Your actions therefore reflect on that organisation.

Same as driving a sign writen company car, or walking round in your shirt with the company logo on it.

But we are all sensible anyway eh :D

Sticker away!!!!!!

I reckon the new stickers should be:

www.ore.co.nz

Less of a mouthfull for someone to memorise :D

I need two small black one's for T.Guts :D

AND THEY ARE FREE!!

Certainly, you great dumbass fat fkn freak of an idle layabout useless POS of COURSE you can have a free Polo shirt, if we can find one big enough to not only fit yer great fat guts but also go over that useless ugly ball of fat you use as a head.
Free sew-on badge, embroidered onto duct tape that will fit neatly over that huge gaping slash you use a mouth and a tee shirt as well so you will at last have ONE item of clean clothing.
All this for one easy payment of a membership fee of $135:23

I would advise moving quickly on this cos we are looking at changing the joining criteria to keep undesirable dorks like you and your halfwitted mates out.

Sarah can join, of course, no worries. BUT you dont slide in on her coattails no matter how hard you grease.

Do you think they will work as well? At least when someone see's an offroadexpress sticker they no its something to do with 4wheeling and they are likley to look it up, if its just ore.co.nz it could be anything. I personally won't be putting a sticker on not because i give a rats arse what others think but because i would prefer that if someone has an issue that they take it up with me or if they feel the need they can report my number plate, i have no problem answering any questions.

But yes there are idiots out there when someone orders a sticker online we have no idea who they are or how they drive so you can't say that everyone with an offroadexpress sticker is responsible, trucks are also bought and sold with these stickers left on which doesn't help things.

The merit of www.ore.co.nz, is that you are advertising the site in subtle way.

Make a 4x4 graphic behind the ORE part of the address.

Every one is saying that we don't want a bunch of noters join ORE and running around with stickers on causing shit. We had that happen, and luckily they have faided, as will the bad press they created.

By having www.ORE.co.nz, you get away from the wordy full address, the bad press, and in theory, if someone wants to know what the Kool looking banner with www.ore.co.nz on it is about, you can choose to tell them, or brush it off as something else.

Otherwise, be proud to be part of the ORE comunity like me :D :D

It was my truck that was vandalised and to this day I still believe it was a member of THIS forum, not a Chch club member, nor anyone affilitated with Combined, which everyone knows I have an issue with. I have even resigned my membership from CLROC due to politics. Have enough contacts now to just do private trips and know enough people to get access to places clubs say that only they can access.

hey guys, keep up your membership in the club you HELPED form and build.
Nice short name, WONDERFUL logo..... BRILLIANT new president.

Death threats? Not yet, guys, but every other sort, but what the fk? I am OLD, and am nearly dead anyway, or so i am told by reliable witnesses.

Any coward who sits in a darkened room, peering into the eerie glow of his computer monitor dreaming up ways to frighten me, has really got to take a good long hard look at his victim. Then look at his mirror with the same intensity, cos THERE he will see someone he does not like much.

I am working on death threats, may issue one to bubba soon.
Who the fk does he think he is? HAH!! as if I would ever give ANYTHING away for FREE!!!

hey Bobby,

Tell us all how you broke you front diff?????

Oh I bet it's a great story,......... about driving hard in the bush, finding those remote hunting and fishing spots, but please enlighten us???

If the Club President can lead the way by telling us about his four wheel driving adventures then I may feel compelled to join that said club and if I joined I might have to stop taking the piss out of it. Buts thats all conjecture at this stage

We are in the process of changing the rules about joining Kiwi4x4, to make it harder with a 12 year probationary period just in case you DO decide to actually join. OHHH just because it's YOU there will be quadruple fees, nonrefundable, paid in advance for the FULL term of probation. Any one else..... well.......

And the best thing about ore and its stickers especially on those longer trips, you know help isnt far away if the truck breaks down, sort of like AA Roadside rescue but without the shame of it

I still proudly have two ORE stickers, one either side of my truck and I have never had any grief from them either.
Me thinks it is up to us ALL to lead by example and let the detractors see that we are not the looseheads that we may be perceived to be.

You are right, but what kind of rules ? I won't mention names but have video footage to back up what I say.

Rule 1 --Drinking piss while recovering trucks is fine.

Just an example of what is not acceptable in most 4x4 clubs in this country.

This is the trouble with 4wd clubs, bickering over stupid things that gets out of hand peoples opinions that clash and noses getting out of joint. This is why I will never join another club to much bs not enough fun, with a family on the way a business to run I dont have time to sit in monthy meetings arguing over wether or not a recovery was safe or if johnny booze head was dui.
Those people who hide behind their traditional shit stirring national ass club rules can kiss my ass, cause im gonna go drivin anyway and have more fun doin it.
As for the stickers make mine a banner I can tow behind me for all the world to see
