safari flex arm
Re: safari flex arm
No problem. If anyone is keen to try these arms, let me know as my truck is getting limited use at the moment, and I have my old arm here, so its under 10mins for me to remove it.

If you are, let me know and I might be able to organise to get mine to you to try out. The limiting factor would be the shock length, but you may be able to just disconnect them to see what sort of flex you can get from these arms.
I was quite keen to have the only one in NZ, but I'm happy to help promote them to see what other think of them, I certainly have no complaints
Make another thread to continue promoting the superior engineering arms?
phone Ross Bolus (secretary of the BOP club) He'll save you.

Hi mate, just a guess but are you considering selling your Superior flex arm by any chance?
Re: safari flex arm
Oh, yeah, like those
I knew someone mustve tried it before or we'd all be using them
Just hadnt spotted them on any sites before. Although mines daily driven anyway so it needs to be kept fairly well behaved on the road. Damn buying 60mm springs, not quite high enough to use drop boxes but dont really like the idea of caster bushes and dont fancy welding plates on incase i change my mind.

I run a 75mm lift with drop boxes
Re: safari flex arm
Wonder if i could get away with it..just don't want the mounts to end up too low so the arms point up and caster the diff the other way. Although the front springs are actually rated at 60-75mm heavy duty, plus the weight of that bar and winch. It sits level anyway but i guess no way to tell how much higher it actually is. Would definitely be interested in these flex arms tho, have tested it driving up a truck tail lift and can see just how much stress goes into those bushes, ie. as far up it as i can get before it cocks a back wheel..as close as i can find to a ramp test
But anyway..this isnt my thread
