4.5s are 9 teeth on the pinion and 41 on the crown
4.3s are 9 teeth on the pinion and 39 on the crown so the teeth on the crown are bigger making them stronger.
I think that is right from memory
Cheers Richard
just wanting to correct myself here
i have a 39/9 4.1 here right now
i had a 41/10 last week
is it posible ones aftermarket ?

from what ive seen the later model 4.1-1's are 41/10 and the older ones are 39/9's...thats with the bigger cruiser diffs anyway, probably the same for the smaller lux ones?

hey scott
are you doing the 1uz swap aswell?
ive got to make custom cross member and drive shafts as the box will be mounted 50mm higher and 40mm forward
ive decided on the R box
think ive got my loom sorted
well ive learnt a bit about hilux boxes over the last mont i had a ln61surf for 3years an though a hilux box was a hilux box (w58's)
thanks

ok im thinking ill use a toggle switch for 4wd 2wd,
allmost had the lexus running tonite
i think the injectors are gumbed up, ive heard of it before on lextreeme
got spark power at the injectors (didnt want to back probe the ecu incase i fried it, i figer if its sparking the ecu's working)
also if i put 12v to the cold start injector i get 2 or 3 clicks then its like an open circuit
bar sending them away whats the best way of cleaning injectors?
run a fuel pump in a 5L container with straight injector clean???
thanks
