I'm a huge fan of the australian 4wd action and 4wd custom action magazines and DVD's. The DVDs in particular are REAL professional and full of useful information and ideas/cool custom truck reviews (like the unimog.. that things aweeeesome!)
Also a bloody good deal at $10 for 1 magazine + one back issue of the sister publication + the DVD.
hell yeah as my wife calls it my porn ... have just about every mag/dvd since issue108 .. im missing 112 and 114 .. (and one of those two have the photo of my daihatfoot i sent in! )
This Thursday is the showing of Norwest winch challenge AT 8.30 PM ON STRATOS/SKY 89. You will see why it is important to have a stronge roll cage. There is some footage of my hilux #55 rolling wheel to wheel twice and driving back up the hill. The hill was very drivable just the driver cocked up again. The damage to the truck was minimal.
One right guard and three bent rims and the super charger pocked its nose through the bonnet for a look around and a cracked window.
The truck was then checked for roll cage damage and cleared and the rims were changed for the last stage of the weekend.
Thanks to those who loaned me there rims and tyres ( the top three drivers 4 the weekend ). Now that is team spirit.
The other damage to the truck was done on trees the days before and the ditch that smashed out the front on the nite stage.
If you get the chance to watch 4wd tv on thursday please think IS my roll cage strong enough to handle that type of roll over. My truck weighs 2250kg comp ready with tools and two in it. Main roll bar is 2" and the front hoop is 1 1/2" 3.2mm and 3.6mm wall.
Happy viewing Cheers Klembo
Ps the show is good. If you think you can do better or get better then DO IT YOUR SELF richard craniums.

We got the episode on DVD yesterday, and watched it last night.
IT IS THE BEST EPISODE YET!!!!!
No freaky camera stuff, so good hard wheeling, the usual EFS suspension tip and the ghey giveaway prize pack thingy, but the rest is all action. Farking awesome!!!!
Not the like the first two episode's i showed you Vvega, they were absolute ass, just a big infomercial
If you got sky, don't miss it, its well worth the time on the couch!!!!!

Yes... Decidedly better than last week. Camera shots good, voice over’s were great. Lower the volume of the music a bit more, and I think they will be almost there. I will watch again next week now.

Lol. Does this thread remind anyone else of those two old heckler guys on the muppet show:

"heyyy, my names bob, i own a prado. I can drive it on long grass."
Lets all watch bob drive it around on the long grass.
"YAY for bob he wins a hat! a beer insulator! another hat! A gay magazine you'll never read! fix your own windscreen kit! Another gay magazine you'll never read! a snatch strap (not bad ) Another magazine for the fire! A coffee mug! A free hat! TWO FREE COFFEE's VOUCHER!!!!"
Then lets watch him drive it around on the grass some more.
I could be wrong. If anyone knows any better please correct me- but those prizes are given by the supplier so that they get their name shown in tv for like 3 seconds. The supplier probably (could be wrong) does not give any other form of show sponsorship. The show probably accepts these prizes because they think that free shit will make people tune in. well.... I dont watch this program for the remote chance of free shit. You have a greater chance of being invited into some golden shower orgy event by the queen. They could replace that with 5 minutes of actual cool stuff and NOBODY would complain.
That is classic!!
it cracks me up how the presenter says Ssssssuperwinch, efsssss, and tread lightly, F**k that funny Clearly its a ausssssssie thing
