raglan harbour for eels maybe, lol.

im waiting to hear back from a mate in Wangamata about a bigger than 10ft bronzy cruising just outside the bar, surfers seen it everyday for the last couple weeks aparently, might go over this weekend and see if i can entice it onto a fkn big hook :twisted: off the beach :twisted: :twisted:

I've caught a few sharks in my time - unless you are looking for a marko or something big they aren't all that much more exciting than your ordinary fish.

Give me a kingi over a shark any day.

If you boys going to do this I suggest taking a baseball bat (shark passifier) so you can get your gear back.

The fun part would be turning it into a 4x4 / beach / fishing / possibily camping trip. Camp fire, few tall stories etc...

couple hundred kilos of shark off the beach sounds pretty fun to me :twisted:
