also i think he has mounted it on the wrong side of the vehicle

where is jerry when you need him

If its facing the right way up the strop stays on and dosent fall off when the strop goes slack, if its upside down the strop falls off when the strop goes slack or it half falls off and you end up spiking a big hole on the eye of the strop when the tensions taken up and much the same senario for sideways hooks :x :?

Worked on my truck today, pulled off the old front hub and stuck the replacement one on, oh yeah and tightened up the top kingpin/steering arm that was falling off

Cheers for the parts Beer Cruiser

took a drive yesterday, dropped off Bubbas alternator finally, just in case he was forgetting wot it looked like, then drove to a couple of places looking for a special type of hex key, then a text arrived, so toured out to Red Rocks to go for a quiet drive on the beach with a few of the boys. 8) 8)

so today I decided to install some racks I scored..............

and also some gay item I scored from JRC.................

and also Pedro came round and we decided to have look number three at my rear locker.

Havent times changed a bit.

We used to have manuals and drawings and instructions from mates scribbled on bits of paper.

Now we have the internet, laptops and wireless broadband...................

and we still got it wrong

I went around to the JRC and helped build a cage for an oversize vitara, and also started doing my front bar. Lower mounts are not done yet

Went round red rcoks on Sat, was a good day for a play, done some bush relairs, steering arm straighten in the bush!
Sunday helped Black Death change his stuffed 4.2 with another while he rebuilds the stuffed one... what a mission!! Got there at 9am and got home at 9:45pm and it's still not running!! alt & starter need a overhaul, so they are going to the auto sparky tomorrow.

Surf's away getting bars made, so no work on it.

However did pull the engine out of a mates S12, mighty CA18ET, fixed the exhaust studs, and decided the intake mani was too crap, so chopped it up and started fabbing a custom front facing one at a mates down the road. much "customising" an plasma cutting ensue'd. :D

I got my busted shit fixed, made a new lower swivel bearing cap with a 25mm spigot instead of 17mm, basically a direct copy of Marlin Crawler's new bits.
