Said goodbye to mum

drove home,

Washed and cleaned the truck in preparation of Mums last wishes, that her ashes be scattered at sea, going to take Dad (and Mum) up 90 mile beach next weekend until Dad finds a suitable place for her to start her final trip home to England.

condolences to you and your family dude

I'm sure I will be right in saying that all of ORE thoughts are with you all, at this time

Thank you Skid ..

it's been a pretty hard time all round.

Condolences to you and your family. We have just went through it with a friend (his father died last weekend), it is tough.

managed to put a decent dent in my sump while changing the engine mounts

sounds like tha crank is tapping the sump so off that comes for abit of bfh smoothing plus it will be a good time to have a look at the internals and things just to be safe

also got a pair of brand new headlights to go in once i put the front back together

also took the radiator out which was chocka (explains my over heating at tha akas last weekend)

need more day light haha

Got the maxitrac springs in my mate's Samurai, now we need some extended shocks for the rear.

Also got the manual hubs onto Piglet and it's pretty much ready for some testing.

Did a club trip into Kopara, Westcoast Sth Island. Awesome time, plenty of mud, plenty of winching, plenty of more mud. Good turnout, 18 trucks. We split into three groups doing various tracks. We were on private l;and there at one stage, cocky has put in shit loads of tracks for the club, what a day, carnage.

After picking up Caitlin from Pippins on Saturday, we headed around the south coast to catch up with the others who had gone earlier.
Met Lynx at the gate, picked up Curly, Mudy1 followed and we were off to find the others...........

everyone trickled away slowly and we stopped to have a fish with the flattie and were shown up by the first timer.......

the next day the keen fisherman decided we needed to wash the truck, much to my protest as its going to Rallywoods next weekend and we didn't need to clean it just yet, but she always wins, so it got washed.........
