Took the better half on her first proper 4wd run on sunday with the BOI club. Was a run for well set up trucks on at least mud tyres etc. Thrashed the C*&p out of the zuk in a final test before Manukau in three weeks.

all went well including covering the missus in mud. Only thing was, was that we were driving pretty much everything do no favors to my arguement that the current Hankook RTO3's weren't grunty enough. Right in queue, as she started commenting that we didnt need new tyres, it started to rain making the clay track run out interesting to say the least. A couple of attempts at a couple of uphills and some interesting moments going back down the question of would new tyres help was asked.

:D :D :D :D :D Today I ordered a shiney new set of Simex ET's :D :D :D :D Hmm virgin tyres for Manukau, OK I'll have to try them before that but Yay. :D :D :D :D

Oh yeah the missu loved it and I think my 5 year old may have lost the cooes seat.

that didnt take as much convincing as i thought. should make a hell of alot of differance with some good rubber on, although you still ran circles around me in the bogs :x but wen my other truck gets on its way things will change (i hope)
