It's far too early for Sentry, but does it have an aftermarket alarm / immobiliser?

I will have to dig it up, but I believe some of the early ignition switches were prone to fail when exposed to water. Later design was made more water resistant.

update it was pluged into a computer today and the crank sensor was worn out

. But it wont be here till next week and the mechanic dose not have time to fit it till late next week. So i might not get it back till monday week as I will be out of town bugger lol

how much for the sensor... panpac did my last one for $167.00. for petes sake dont get one from the dealerships, unless your going to give up your firstborn.
And its a 5 min job to do, very literally, 5 mins.
