Veiws look good. Washouts look like fun. I'm happy to lend a hand if need be, and if date suits. Bourbon and fire should keep me warm :D before I retire to tent

Nothing like a bottle of bourbon to keep the insides warm :P Specially when that snow comes.
Cool sounds like we will be able to open trail in no time with the interest in people. Will open a nice pleasant scenic drive and easy hunting accsess.

went into avoca homestead last weekend. Had a look at the washouts . 1st one is by far the worst. Needs a good crowbar and about eight or ten sticks of gelignite to fix if anyone has some. The track appears to end at chasm creek about 1km from staircase gully. Walked thru for a look. track behind hut was frozen and slippery. Tap and water pipe in hut was frozen. track apart from three washouts is in good condition. would suggest waiting for some warmer weather to do work, but worthwile project. :D :D

Was a good walk, only about 2ks from washouts to chasm creek. If you could get around the head of chasm creek there is another terrace tha t would take you right to staircase gully. Didnt have time to investigate it but it may be passable. The track deftinately appeared to end at chasm creek.Couldnt find any wheel tracks past there. LOT OF FRESH PIG SIGN AT END OF TRACK,JUST DIDNT SEE THE HOGS. :D :D .
