went to post season fun trial north of palmy in rangiwahia

was awesome day, helped out as steward person thingy and then helped pull course apart today and cruised home

then saw pics like this on the forum........................

Image

and I'm sorry Dan, but I gotta ask........
is she wearing any form of belts
you seem to be wearing a neck brace in case of a roll or something equally as dangerous but its a bit hard to see if you're wearing belts either

please tell me otherwise, pics look dodgy

    :?

Will get it looked at on Monday or Tuesday to see how bad it is.

shit that sounds bad, just for future reference my mother has a batch about 5 mins up the road from the road gate entry with plenty of beds and a couple of garages.

But its just the main hoop  was going to move it back and mount it to the chassis 8) But if you want to help me build an awesome cage instead of letting me just mostly copy yours then by all means the help would be very much appreciated. Otherwise reece and I did come up with a good plan to reuse the old cage main hoops.

Was thinking the same thing as well when I saw that and was going to ask when I got home but you beat me to it!

Thanks for clearing that up but I would have thought it would have been beeter to have put the full belt on considering she may have only been novice with offroading and if it turned to custard......

In saying this I wasn't there and didn't see the hazard.....

didnt ask for pic to be removed, but prob not a bad thing due to undesirable using pics off this site to portray bad driving in NZ wide publications :x

spotted the 1st page thing and just put it down to 'natural selection' in progress

Cant see the picture that you are referring to,. But yes belts always worn even as it this case it is only the lap ones, (EDIT ADDEDI Always wera a neck brace,) you can tell its not serious of even slightly effy as I have no helmet on and no shoulder belts. Also camera angles can make really good photos

Had a good trip to Rallywoods, did heaps of tracks, very dry. Did night run on Sat night and Jerry came along, good to catch up :) Paul came out as well both days. We drove up Wong way at night 8) did the top track by gate to Akas both ways. The V8 Landy suffered a broken cv (cruiser) but got him back and fixed and back out again :D :D

Firstly she is not a novice, she is my wife who competes in both our club champs and the Top Half Fun Rally, secondly it was a shiney run and this particular slope A Safari (Mild Mods), A Jeep Rubicon (No mods), and Meeece in his vitara all had a go at it as well. Thirdly it was me in my vehicle and I had already driven it for about 4 hours that day on this farm so I knew what the ground was handling like and also how the Vehicle was handling as well. Believe me if I think it may go pear shape it is full belts and HELMET. (nothing like a healthy discussion is there)
