Not confirming yet, will possibly be a last minute decision for me... but THE WIFE SUGGESTED I GO... Whats the world coming to... no arguing, no being nice for weeks beforehand...

I'm confused... it might be a trap

But I think I'd like to go...

Shit Kev, you ain't lived unless you have stayed at the Otira. What for frost on the inside of the windows, the coal on the woodburner that only goes with the door wide open, the questionable steaks, the supersonic pooltable with felt as original as the pub, do I need to go on....

C'mon Steve - you have a green light and you know you want to. Exorcise the ghost of Easter past and bring that MU out for a play with the big-boys Image
Image.

You're blessed that the good wife has given you carte blanche ... my mission was convincing the handbrake that this trip is not suitable for women and children. She and the wee-one had so much fun @ Easter, they're rallying for another tripImage. Working on this myself.

Tim,

I will need to confirm 100% later, so dont book anything for me. Things are a bit hectic at the mo, and may end up in UK for a few weeks, not sure when...

Cheers,

Bill

Theres only one thing that worries me more than 4WDing the MU when Riks around... and thats Rik driving the MU... so bugger it, I'd better take the path of least resistance and come :P

Still not confirming... aparently there is a little more building to be done on the renovation front before its a given that I can go. But its looking good.

Nothing in those offensive rumours Rik Image

Pubs are literally miles apart (save 4 hospitality)
- Friday 28th @ Bealey
& Saturday 29th @ Ikamatua.

Might be able to go now, just need permission from the handbrake. You need a ride there Adam.

Would love to join you guys, but we fly to oz on the 29th for a holiday
Oh well, will just have to put up with beaches and bikini's instead of big wet sloppy holes

Misses is still a bit iffy about you lot after the little tent episode on the last trip, so that rules out all camping trips in the future

Not stepping on my toes Kev, saves me the job
so guys if you're coming make your own bookings at posted contacts, we are staying at the bealey pub friday night, and at Ikamatua hotel Saturday night, accomodation choices are plentiful at both depending on what you wants, budget type (own sleeping bag) is about $20 at Bealey and $13 at Ikamatua,
