Went out with the Whangarei 4wd Club for the first time on Saturday, had a great time and met some good guys. :D Tried out the snorkel, held up fine with water over the front section of the bonnet, so more sealed than the doors anyway. The new Dunlop Grantrek MT1's I bought last week seemed pretty sweet too.

Now to finish cleaning and pull the carpet up...

had to work yesterday morning

then started on a new box for the rear of the 80 complete with drawers 8)

went for a tiki tour today through most of the Akaratarawas as a familiarisation trip for new trip leaders
saw a lot more of the place than I knew before

and saw all the seasons in one day................

left home in the dark, but clear skies
was pissing down 20 mins up the road
then it was foggy and wet
then there was sunshine and lots of blue sky
then there was dark cloud really quick
then rain
then hail
then rain
then sun
then rain
then darkness fell
then we finally got out of the bush

at least the heater works in the 80
