Until summer really kicks into gear (if it ever happens) a roof is a bit of a necessity in Dunedin!

Death to whoever bids against me.

tough luck Smurf, sorry you missed out man. With that kind of budget though you won't have any problems finding something tidy.

Cheers.

Gutted as.

Couldn't be at a computer at the time of auction closing, been behind the wheel of a MKIX Jaguar all afternoon driving some pretty ladies around.

Oh well, the search continues.

I'm not sure but I think it may be a truck that was sold last year for less

PM Sig and ask if it was Phils old truck

also the photos are at Rallywoods and one of the ugly cnuts I can see is our very own taz01 so he may know as well

but I would send a PM to Sig first coz the elf sticker and the front bars remind me of his mates old truck, well built too coz he had a fair bit of input

Geez... looks good. I'd be talking to that guy ASAP as it looks in good condition compared to alot of other ones on the market recently - people seem to be sticking silly prices on them a hoping for the best. Only thing not going for it is no roll cage but you could put in a rear one without certification (I think).

Sweet as.

Is anyone from Welly that knows their cruisers well keen to look at it for me in exchange for a couple boxes of your favourite brew?

It looks good mechanically and just got a WOF but I'm concerned about rust as I'm no panelbeater.

Just left a message with the owner to suss out where he lives. If it's in central city or surrounding suburbs I can have a look and take some more photos - if it's out further there might be others closer who can have a look. I'll post the location when I hear back.

Just had a chat to the guy and he's dropped the vehicle off at ABC (brake place) in Wgtn so he'll txt me when he's going to pick it up and I'll see if I can meet him there this avo/tomorrow morning... (depending on my work load). Won't have a camera if it's this avo but can look it over and give you an idea.

not sure if I mentioned it properly, but I'm fairly sure Sig helped build it

He's a cruiser nut from way back and knows then inside out, so send him a PM and then you will probably be able to keep the brewskies for yaself

to the best of my knowledge I believe it is a well built truck with probably no rust as the previous owner was a mechanic who owned hi own business so wouldn't want shoddy workmanship portraying his business

Mines already looking a bit rough and was never intended to be a show pony - I'd be tempted to look at this one on TM and flick mine! I haven't had a txt back from him so if he txt's me in the morning I'll try and catch up with him.

Cheers

If I thought Kyle wasn't interested I'd be getting the cash together today to put in an offer... I'm slightly gutted after driving it... Later model ones are sooooo much nicer

Well to conclude this part of my find a Cruiser story..

I offered the fella pretty close to his asking price.. unfortunately someone made a signigicantly better offer shortly after.. so it won't be coming to Dunedin unfortunately

Must again thank you Stefan for your help, it's awesome that [almost] buying a classic 4x4 sight unseen is that easy with help from people like you.

Anyhow, I'm looking at this tomorrow :)
