Now Furgus and probably a couple of others are going to tell me this truck isn't the right truck for the job.

I just got to throw a decent winch on it. He took the last one off.

He was telling me the truck is still easy to drive even without a co driver. The tall blue stick has a switch on top turning rear brakes on/off. Moving the still forward and back brakes each rear wheel.
Other fiddles operate front brakes.



Sounds like a good setup.
He's taking it into a workshop in Rotorua this morning for a once over.

I could be wrong here (has happened once before ) but I think Furgus was more getting at if you wanted it for trials work, it may not be the perfect setup, but with what you have planned, it should be ideal (apart from getting showered in mud and shit every time you go out )
You couldn't build that rig on a trailer for that sort of money.

We all took it for a sideways spin round the carpark.
Pitty I didn't take any vid of Rick and Nath coz they drove it like they stole it.

They recon there's always room for improvement on it, but as it is, it's solid reliable buy.

The open diff in the front will get replaced with a LSD diff. Thought of steeling the front locker off my 40. But then with the buggy having front fiddle brakes. At this stage an LSD is an easy answer.
