Spent Saturday getting ready for Sunday.
Spent Sunday knee deep in mud, giving the winch a good workout (only ever done light recoveries) and putting the 35 inch KL71's to good use.(First time out in the gumbo mud and rocks)
And used my snig chain to move fallen trees off the tracks (Virgin chain, been in the rear locker for 8 years and never used in anger)
And Taking the LWB Prado Bus up Stadia / Neasville....
Excellent trip. No panel damage but covered in scratches.
Knocked off a wing mirror....Been hit many times, but its time was up....Easily fixed.
Bent a rear bar pintle attachment dropping into big holes....
Nothing that cant be tweaked.
Had a ball...

And didn't get home until 10pm.
Learnt heaps about my truck and have a few minor adjustments to make.
Thought I would be the weak point on the trip, but that belonged to a SWB Paj... On Silverstones...
Thanks Jeremy for a great day out.!
Calvin

Is it just me or is the nissan looking a bit small?

Yeah I never thought I would say that but the black beast in the back ( way behind too) looks huge. Have you shrunk that Nissan in the rain or is it a new Safari Jnr?

No the black one is Rana's Big Black 2, its just massive. Think Patrol rear axle widened 300mm and Nissan Titan f/glass body that has had a bit added between the cab and factory size tray.

Need to put our trucks beside them meatc, ours would look like a matchbox toy compared to those

I have managed to fit the antenna where my mirror is on my front gaurd for my GME TX3220 UHF Radio, next step is to mount the radio itself in the truck.
