or possibly make it a fortnightly play?

Now we are talking :D
That is a brilliant idea. That way we can plan for it.
I too would have loved to come and play this weekend but have already made other plans.

Hell yeah once a fortnight 4wding instead of once every month/2months sounds primo.

could even start making up some sort of small challenges for us with pegs, ie forwards through that one, reverse through that one, updside down through that one, blind driver with gagged co-pilot etc

Well I had a good time. Except for the halfshaft incident  . Maybe next time we should do pegs and a whole day. And it was good that nobody got to take a picture of my major oops at the end  . And I think it must be Mikes beer thats sitting in my garrage. I shall bring it to the next ORE meet anyway.

If its carlsberg then its mine but help yourself to it. I had a wicked time and am looking forward to taking more good advice from sam in the future. Just kidding haha. Definitely need proper tow hooks first though. Thanks to everyone who helped me get unstuck - much appreciated.

Catch you next time

Was a pretty wicked day out considering the last time I went 4wding I had to drive to rotorua to go with Dieselboy  It is such a good area and it will be a pity to loose it to housing in the years to come. Cheers for organising it turoa and a fortnight sounds primo, keep us posted. Here is a pic of the organiser and his beast!

Looks like a wicked time, you certainly got the right day for it.

I would definitely be keen for an outing in a couple of weeks.

We need a damage report for that trip.
I had 1 broken halfshaft that I fixed on the field. It was stuck in there, so I couldnt push it out. I got it fixed though. And 1 broken parking light (didnt even notice it was broken until I went to put the parking lights on for the tow home  ). Anyone else want to share their damage :?:
