great to hear it's still being used properly!! im suffering from v8 withdrawal symptoms. got a lexus sitting in the shed just too bloody poor to put i in the surf lol.
my weekends achievement: -clean the shed so i have room to work -install an airbox in the suzuki. it's been breathing dirt for too long
tomorrow efforts will be figuring out where to mount a surge tank. hopefully it will stop the starving fuel problem

It must be the weekend for recoveries....
Just shot down to the supermarket for some lunch good's for tomorrow at Woodhill and came round the corner near home to find a car off the side of the road and in a ditch
Straight into recovery mode, hazards on and checked to see the guy was Okay.
Checked the back of my wife's Disco for a Tow strap, shit not there. Quick trip down the road to get gear out of Mudhog and then back for the recovery.
Hooked up the Disco with the tow strap halfed, flicked the Disco into difflock 1st and pulled him out the opposite direction to what he had been travelling to stop him sliding along the ditch edge and into a tree
Checked to make sure the car was driveable and the job was done.
Maybe tomorrow at Woodhill will be a quiet day...

That is definatly the intention Figured we'd be marking the tracks from next weekend on. Should be good. If my mate up at Helensville don't have any, I'll be calling Steven. I'll see how my work load is this week, might get the clutch and starter sorted too. Cheers,

Well today I drilled the holes in the steel for the switch panel in the Lada, and trial fitted it. It was all OK, So I put the first layer of wrinkle paint on.
Not bad for only 1 1/2 hours sleep. And most of the day being taken up by a 1200 word essay, analysing a photo...

Mate came round, decided to take the terrano for a quick blat down the waipara, started at amberley beach and worked way to bridge, got stuck in a real soft bit of river, thanks to some motorbikers that stopped, had 5 fellas pushing and got out

Had a Great day on Patrol at Woodhill again today, met a few guy's from ORE and got to play in the Mud
Had a bad start to the day thought the truck had been a bit bouncy on the way to the park, so once I had got to the park I was able to see the problem. I had blown my rear Bilstein shock apart.
After a quick trip home to fit a spare I had, it was back to the park for Patrol duties and a play in the mud

This Truck was there doing a shake down run before the Tuff truck Winch Comp coming up soon.
Lexus V8 and nicely set up aswell
This was the smaller water hole we did first, the body lift does seem to have made a difference for the better

Ha, that was the same hole I feel in at the top of the clay climb the week before. Difference is a tough truck doesn't break a control arm and a steering box when doing it
Here's how the same truck looked last year when we cleaned up after the Norwest Winch Challenge

Hey i got them working in the end, but they were saying error and wouldnt play, I've never had issues before so thought it must of been a prob with the vid itself.
Cheers, Who's truck is that anyway.? It looks like a nice truck and i thought it was Tim's at first. Is it running Hilux diffs.?

Ha ha. You'd have trouble keeping up with a Mazda 323. Have you dropped your 'Nanna Racing' team name?
