Dead keen but no folding stuff for toys at the moment.

You can the 7700 off the dealer direct for $260 including the areial and cable.
However the arial may not be good as the one for sale here.

I was also reading that the Uniden won't back up any shadow dealing ie; not warrenty. Not sure if that applies on this deal but......... Caveat emptor

These radios are nz sourced via Uniden, uniden website lists a 3 yr warranty. cheapest one on tm when i last checked was 279 without the aerial.

unit sizes were copied from uniden nz website, refer to the first post for the links. your info refers to parallel imported radios, these are sourced from ubiden locally.

Yes thats correct, most of us down here still use the 27mhz CB due to their additional range.

finally recieved the radios, cheers for the drop off Jerry, and fark me are they a compact unit, they would be a 1/8 the size of my existing prs radio, fired it up and it seems easy enough to work, now to figure out where to mount the little farker
