took a drive up kowai river north Canterbury (from mouth headed upstream) to see what was like rather dry till you get right up had to turn back due to only 1 car and running out of daylight. will head up with another truck sometime to have a look around. anyone been up there?

Thats the one that runs right passed amberley ae mate? I have never been down there even tho i live in amberley.

Sold the Hilux.

Went to Palmy and got the new car drove back took ages but was fun until the battery died in Matamata and the rear diff started making a funny noise. Try to contact the previous owner and have had no reply. Thats ok though I still got them down from $8500 to $5200 but now I no why they dropped there price for me. Owell its still cheaper than any other V5 WRX wagon out there.

yea between leafield and amberley went up well past "balcairn Amberly road" prity easy driving started to get abit interesting but nothing the zuk couldnt handle :lol: didnt want to risk going further due to being alone and the time

fitted a rearward facing floodlight to help the stroppers see when Im snatching toymotas :lol:
also took a mate out to christen him and his truck. another convert to the brotherhood :D

Had a pretty decent weekend. Worked a 12 hour day on saturday then picked up a bottle of this on the way home:

I have to say they are bloody fun :lol: was throwing people off the biscuit at 55mph :mrgreen: :lol: :twisted: suckers haha. Didnt get a chance to jump in the biscuit myself as i was the only person allowed to use the boat.

Wish i had more pics of when i got bored and started doing big 180s at 35mph :twisted:

took the safari back to the garage g/box has to come out again rear engine seal they replaced is no good , and gearbox shop replaced all bearing and thrust washers in there but didn't touch the transfer now that has silver oil

the soils completely different down here to our northland clay, get a bit of water on the bogs and they are bottomless :shock: :lol: , lots more river driving here too, ground clearance is needed, wouldn't have got the mistress around most of this weekends creeks without some major rockrash underneath.

so hows the club runs like up there these days

got my wof due next week so wont be going on this weekend run .. they have so many runs organized here you can miss a couple of weekends and not worry about having to wait a month or more for the next one, Oh depending on how Kind Mr WOF man is might see a Front Locker residing in the Whale in a few weeks :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Probably, I'm farken lucky I didn't roll it to be honest :lol: Wish we had that many runs :( Ya gunna love that locka! Mine is awesome 8)
