So I only got a couple of pictures and a wee bit of video.
First off, Ron our host was giving me heaps for bringing a "knife to a gun fight"

Lol, Your Truck did pretty well on Sat considering :), Im keeping an eye out for a shortie Saf now after seeing how that other one drove on Sat, it walked all over everything except that Damn Jeep!

Glad you guys had a good weekend and a safe trip home, was a little concerned with the weather yesterday afternoon.

Yeah Ron put on a bloody good run, gutted I had to miss the BBQ (Nathan's burn was a little more serous than it looked :( ended up having to take him to the A&E to get some stuff to stop the pain.)

cheers Meece.

Sloppy is an under statement :!:
I was warned about this mud, but now I know.
I was snatched out of there, and then meece took that photo of me standing beside my truck. Truck was clean 40 mins before.
Then meece jumped in shotgun, and we drove a boggy fence line.
First time I have used 3rd/low in such a short distance.
Wheel speed is the key to getting over sloppy stuff like that
Cheers,

It was on private land to the south of the mountain.
The bush line was on the boundary.
Ron (CRAZYBUSTARD) from Taranaki 4x4 organized the run.
I think it is one of the club members property.
Great place, paddock after paddock of swampy goo
Cheers,
