I am onto my 5th Niva now and #5 has had the original carby rebuilt then when it got the better of me I fitted a Cortina carb off TM.
Heaps more responce power etc etc.
Never looked back since and wish I had done the swap years ago.

I'm not exactly keen on swapping the carb right now, it seems fine for what I use the thing for atm (lawn ornament, soon to be a daily for my Dad) :D

So am i, (looking after a child does that to your finances) which is why i have a second car as a daily driver and work on the Niva when i can.

Lucky I have no children yet then :lol:

I have a daily driver, but unfortunately that also takes a lot of time and Money, being a Mini :oops: :roll: :lol:

omg. such a dad joke. nice work :D

Im in the process of setting up a weber carb on mine at the mo having trouble finding throttle cable brackets and linkages that will work.
