the escape from auckland was well under way a 3.45pm , traffic a slow meander, but should be good for a drive in till they hit manukau
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

they got lost trying to find northwestern motorway, jerry didn't know how to spell helensville right, payed them all a visit, chatted with most before they headed on out to woodhill, then they lost rimmers rd, told jerry the roads this way onone followed, so went in talked to monsta at the gate, they were driving in as we left,

update from woodhill .... A few winch issues and bent bits but both teams are still running ok.
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

visted today after 3pm, saw a few trucks still running , then spent time helping a newbie put his tyre back on his rim, as he nly had 4 muds, and the road tyre wouldn't survive long under a lwb patrol in there

It was good to meet some of you I did not meet all of you, but it was nice to put a face to the names, anyway I hope you had a good time at Woodhill Park Aucklands 4WD playground, I hope to do Rallywoods when Iam down there.

All your heavy bags with bricks in them got dumped in the back of my truck .... better empty it out now
