They are right, It is a JEEP thing and I dont understand it. BUT it is looking bloody good and at the end of the day it is a wheeler. Keep up the efforts, and yep need to keep the Barbie Logo

I thought I'd seen some pics of the engine before, maybe my dialups too slow to download them now or it was a different thread, what is it some sort of chrysler engine, was it a conversion or did it come out with it?
should be some fun in it over at westport

sav dropped a 318 Chrysler in it....outta a zj???didn't come out with v8s, but ya can get a 4 banger ones in the states.........yeah west ports gonna be a blast....got a tow wagon sorted plus trailer........cant wait...

he had a bad weekend of gremlins.....axle,,then the auto went bang.......yota auto i think bill..??

hahaha, It's a Jeep auto, but then again Jeep and Toyota Autos are made by Aisin so the internals are the same :-p

yep hit a tree.....just jumped out in front of me....

then backed into one as well........all with about 10 mins of the weekend to go....

all good fun but...

oh yeah fixed the flares ...love that tape..........will have to sort them out.....tom?????

found the over heating problem....may have something to do with all that baked on westport mud on rad

top looks sweet dude, I want to close mine in like that as well, did you buy it like that or get bits added to the old one?? I have seen a motor trimmer and he reckons he can add to mine to enclose it, I have the plastic bits for the door surrounds off my old soft top, so it shouldn't be too hard to do, cost will be the decider I guess, how much for that one if I can ask

shes a top made by rampage.....was gonna get one made up but was cheaper to get one in......around $400 hundie .......shop around as all differnt prices ...got mine when our $ was good aganist the green ....

Is it the frame side? That TRE should have a castle nut and a split-pin to stop getting it undone. At axle end, you can use a second nut to act as a stop/lock for the first nut.
Is yours adjustable with a lock nut? A photo would be helpful.

read somewhere its just a shit factory design ...nut works loose.......same as the one behind the steering wheel..........
