Saturday : Cut my front gaurds , to clear the tyres .
Sunday : Went wood hill, was having a great time,
then got a pin hole in the rear heater/water hoses ..
So wrapped it up with some plastic and cable ties,
Rear bumper pushed tail light and craked it
(should have listend to Coxy who told me this happens all the time with stock bumper

s..)
, and the clutch started slipping on way home

..
Glad it drove home with out too much drama

..
Lilpigzuk -- Private land ? Looks like a lot of fun!

Yip. Will be done by Sunday (drive in movie carpark re-education unit

)
I have a bone to pick with the pig farm as it was the death of T1

Drurban, not Co-ee's fault. Did it on "My bypass" Big arse tree roots that have been un-earthed by 35+ inch tires

there was nothing i could do to prevent it, simon's right foot is just too heavy sometimes.

and it isn't my fault he's fixed every other weak part on the front end...

my achievement for the weekend was pulling apart my spare diffs and cleaning up the head ready to go into the truck next week/weekend for the pig farm.
then today cruised round woodhill as coey in t2 in rwd showing some whangrei boys 'our backyard'.
cheers

had a bad saturday at work. Wet season. Found the guy a new spring. would've been easier if i hadn't driven the truck over it. took 6 hours to get out with a 12 tonne digger and two 80hp tractors, lifted it out sideways then had to be dragged 20m with the digger to reach drier ground.
it's in a grazed dairy paddock. bloody hard to see the change in grass colour in the early morning sun. Been in this paddock last year, though it was always a bit damp it was only around the gully at the bottom, not 70m up the paddock.
edit:
pic too wide

It was also the temporary death of the Lada.
It won't be there this time, but next time...

Damned Pig Farm, Nav started making silly noises after last trip there as well lol. However I am moderately motivated to get the lada ready for this trip... well so motivated that I spent about two hours patching previously cut holes and cutting new ones (stupid rust) my welding is still shit... but I have a grinder lol.
Doubt it will actually be ready for this pig farm trip but I am gonna give it a shot.
Pics of holes
New holes:

Old hole fixed (well getting there)

Well it was a long weekend
Caught up with Coxy (as mentioned earlier) nice to meet you mate and will let you know when Im next down and we could go off exploring out your ways
Didnt achieve much else, I still need to sort out my gearstick for the bodylift. I managed to find a Engineer who does small jobs cheap so I got him to make a adaptor for the BOV on my Rover 220 and fitted that.
I will get him to tinker with some bar work on the bighorn as well when I get some extra cash if that doesnt work I will just get the landlord to help me out.

Had a oil leak from around sump, so off that came to find a crack in the housing that holds the rear main seal. ####! so off came the gearbox, cheers Drurban and hiluxdan for the lift with that heavy c*#t.
Must of had oil in the hole or silicon and hydrauliced when tightened.

Replaced the stock springs and shocks in the Land rover Discovery, with terra firma shock's +50mm and extreme springs gone up a bit more than the 50mm but sure it will settle down after a bit of off roading. Very happy with the result .

Yep, thats the one.

Was the easiest to make waterproof, I ditched the plastic push nose, and ran a 4 inch to 3 inch joiner so she`s watertight.
And its a interesting debate over which ones uglyier !
