sorry mate cant make it went to start truck this afternoon and no go? called AA as im useless with cars and they looked at it and said the starter motor needs work. He tapped on it with a hammer while i started which it did ok but he said may have problems so will have to get a auto electrician to have a look at it. Really sorry as i was excited as about going on this trip (my first 4wd) and also meeting you guys. :( :( :(

We can hit your starter into life - just needs contacts like $14 from a sparky + install easy

Hi all,

Id like to appologize for turning up late however Id been working through the night to try and get the zuk going and it kept getting later. finally pulled the pin after the front driveshaft wouldn't bolt up which is a bit dissapointing.

Thanks all for turning up to support the cause. Was a brilliant day for it! and the river was at a nice level to have a few interesting spots! Im looking foward to another trip up there so I can take my baja bug

Cheers

Went own the Eyre River yesterday from Oxford with Canty Rec Club, even more water in it now :) stopped to air up at Two Chain Rd ford and it went from dry to under water in about 20 minutes! Had to winch a tow truck out but that's another story :)
