Spent ages cutting out new gaskets for my water pump and housing on the Pajero.

Don't worry, once married your weekends will change very quickly (girlfriend to wife upgrade has many unintended consequences).

May i suggest you take lots of equipment in with you, We just spent 13 hours doing one track off bogg inn road.
We started with 9 trucks all on 35,s or bigger most had twin lockers and we had 13 winches between us, by the time we got out (10pm) we were down to 6 winches and had broken several winch ropes and extensions.
Our guide, a very knowledgeable guys who's been in there lots said its the toughest he's ever seen it.
I wish i'd had time to take pics but was a bit busy!
If you do go further in have fun...It's freakin awsome in there
