Stock steering damper does not like this kind of stuff
Some might say it is time to upgrade?

With the muffler out of the way, finally had enough room to put the rear long arms on.
Borrowed the exhaust jack from Camel(thanks bud), awesome tool Gotta love the forklift at work though...
As my driveway is on an angle big time, had to anchor Jane's body firmly...next time gonna do it on a level surface, makes fitting sh*t together way easier
Old A-arm, lower arms, shocks, sway bar etc out, new long arm mounts temporarily in place, drill 20! holes in uni-body/chassis rails. And if you thought that getting burning swarf all over you is fun, try to put eight back spacers inside the chassis rails thru a small hole and line it up with the freshly drilled holes plus the long arm mounts so much fun, but definitely worth it! No wonder had to crack a few woodys along the way, and then came the darkness
few days later - apparently one has to go to work between jeep sessions - all done
A-arm in place
During test drive had a decent vibration from the back, so tweaked axle/diff angle, huge thanks to adjustable A-arm, drive shaft in perfect angle with pinion shaft now
the new rear
Ride was good with short arms, but now i'd say its excellent!
IRO all the way

Looking good. But you do need more aggressive rims and tyres with that look.

Looking awesome. Bit of a mammoth task to do in that drive.

Happen to know that house as i rented it in 1999-2001 and can vouch it is on a hell of an angle. Did a clutch on my Courier in the same place.
Cheers,

Few months back a bloody tree jumped right into my quarter window made it to explode to pieces.
Windscreen had a decent chip for over a year now, thought it'd be a good time to replace both. Insurance Co said all good, go to my preferred place or Smith & Smith. S&S are just down the road from work, so I went there. Windscreen is not on stock, but window can be replaced within 24hrs as they need to get it from another branch. Me dropped truck off next morning, late afternoon got a call from S&S that the window they've received is for the other side, so it wont fit... They ordered in a new one, should be there in a week. 2 weeks later got the phone call that that they got it. Dropped off car next morning, they called me in a few hours later that they're sorry it is not the right model, as it is not the right version as it does not have the aerial built in it.... After another week they called that the windscreen is here, I can expect a call next week from the technician who will fit it the day after... No contacts for two weeks so I rocked up to he office to find out that the windscreen is nowhere to be found...no trace of PO or PS, so in their view it has never existed
Another 3 weeks gone and guess what, they called me that the windscreen and the proper window has arrived, ready to put in Week later got a call for technician that he cant make it, so he will call in 3 days...next week he called at 10.30pm that he will turn up at 8.30am next morning...whatever dude, just f*kin do it
Just to top it off, when he arrived he said that he cannot do it cos the truck is too high and no one told him...of course they sent the shortest guy available gave him a hand or two while at work to fit them...
Anyway, it was all paid by insurance, new windows are original MOPAR
