driveshaft loop is for power uprater, suppose to be 50 % but at certifiers idea if power is lower , but seems any engine change they like loops fitted :roll:
a TD 4.2 drive shaft is the same as a TD4.2 T driveshaft go figure :roll:

come down to tokaroa and you'll get your cert no sweat. my troll was way worse and flew through cert haha.

OK I may come across this as also have after market Turbo.
Would a chain hanging down from chassis rails suffice as would hold drive shaft up if breaks? Is just the rear or does front drive shaft need one also?

nope to chain..... must be a fixed hoop, and on rear shaft only.

its always feels good to get the most expensive piece of nothing out of the way, but atleast its all legal now.

heya coxsy,

how did the inspection go on with your drop boxes? I'm just about to go for cert on my SWB but i've made my own drop boxes.... ie no brand names, cheers

He never asked about drop box manufacture, mine were fabed up and tacked, got a certed welder to weld them together, nor did he ask about chrome moly rear lower arms either, but again I fabed them up certed rig guy welded them

Only place it can go on mine as rear lock solenoid is in the normal place they put them
