Looking bloody good.

Cant wait to see it on some slightly larger tyres.

Just about brought one of these a while back, allways liked the old surfs.

A wee update

On advice he has swopped the brake booster and master out for a double diaphram one from a late model KZN surf... big improvement in braking

Had an issue with local engine builder not happy with me shortening the rear drive shaft apparantly 0.14mm of run out is too much to balance  last time I deal or recomend Qualities... force Nobber to pay them to cut and re weld it $150 for an hrs work

Made up a front drive shaft  this thing is over kill 300hp PTO shaft and 6mm thick tube from an old CF Bedford axle (only thing I had in stock that could match the dia's to sleave the outer to the UJ joint)

And the best news its pass'd its cert no problems

 hey skid.... yet another one I've done

That's looking alright fella.
Lucky for you that Reese was on the job as well. So many guys think that having a decent RTI is all about how far you can get up a ramp.
The trick is to get the front moving in unison with the back. This keeps the body sitting level(ish) and counteracts a lot of the COG problems that people have.

Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

Thanks for the complement
Funny you should mention CoG I've just spent the last hr typing up a explaination of why I'm setting up my links on the landy due to CoG movement along with a few others when you climb

In my books balance is more important than getting silly numbers on a calculator  you should have heard Nobbers call first time out with it  "I'm really happy... it just walks over every thing"
Thats a cool thing for me :D
