Hey man that thing is sweet. 8) 8) 8) Is it all certed or was the rewelds just in case you decide to cert it in the future?

I'm currently coiling my 413 on Hilux axles (trailer truck) and was wondering what length rear springs you are running and if the upper mount is under chassis rail or beside it?

Keep the pics comin

Vitara Radiator
adjustable Proportioning valve
Bushwacker fender flares (6")

Excellent build!
May I ask a couple of questions?

Did you manage to source the flares and proportioning valve here in NZ or source them in from the US?
I noticed the Rocky Road Outfitters sticker on windscreen.....I spent a bit there for my Xmass present :?

The Vitara radiata - did it clash with the original steering box? any chopping of inner guard needed? and are you running an electric fan?
I'm asking as I'm worried about cooling once I bring the winch in to the front , I have been thinking of alternative radiators.

both the flares and the adjustable Proportioning valve came from rocky road outfitters
but you can get adjustable Proportioning valves from a few places in NZ

the flares are two rear sets of Jeep Wrangler in which RRO and trailtough have a deal
with Bushwacker so they can sell it as the one set.

the Radiator fitted fine with the std steering box just had to make a complete new mount on passengers side
and modified the drives side mount
i ran the std fan on the engine as well.

little more been done
got some trans tunnel boots made
the rear drive shaft balanced
go the indicator lights working
also shaved the bottom of the rear diff
and moved the diff spring mounts as was originally done for a normal drive shaft as was centered toy diff with suzi t-case
now has the toy t-case ect with double cardon drive shaft
Image
Image
Image
still saving up to get the cage

with the diff i got +/- 15mm extra clearances so the same as a 30mm taller tire

Can you describe the fuel system a little for me please? Is that a fuel cell or have you modified the existing tank? I am considering (way in the future) a fuel cell in the back of the vitara to get some clearance in the rear.

mainly my problem was that the fuel cell is not set up for the efi (the one i got)

so i have a carby pump to fill the surge tank (to 1st of 3 fittings on top)
a line from the surge tank to the efi pump (bottom fitting)
return from engine to surge tank (to 2nd of 3 fittings on top)
and a return form surge tank to fuel cell (to 3rd of 3 fittings on top)

hope it helps
