threw a set of lift springs in my 80, took just under an hour, much easier than changing leaf springs.

Bit of back story the 80 used to belong to my parents, when they had it i used to tow a huge horse float. To counteract the weight on the draw bar a huge set of springs were fitted, the front was lifted a bit and caster correction bushes, after the float was sold these were removed and a set of stock springs were fitted (not the original ones).
I brought it about 12 months ago and noticed i was sitting about 10mm off the bump stops at rest, every bump would be kinda rough.
turns out 80 series cruisers made after august 91 sat 30mm lower, so the springs it had in it were from a later model.

Long story short, rides far nicer, steering is lighter and less road noise.

Any one after a set of stock 80 series coils, late 91 onwards.
