Dunno man, you could be right, but I remember once when I was a wee young muppet...........

I got my surf stuck in the soft bed of lake Rerewhakaitu. It looked very similar to the stuck Hilux in that video.

My mate tried to winch me out, single line wouldn't do it, double line broke the anchor rope he was tied to the tree with.

The problem is breaking/over coming the suction created in such a situation before you can get the vehicle moving. A good way to do that is a sharp snatch to break that suction, then keep the stuck vehicle moving.

In my case it took two vehicles snatching in tandem to break the suction and get my surf moving on that occasion.

They might have had the right idea, maybe........ :lol: :lol:
