That track up from the bog is good times. If you follow the creek/track it comes to a nice little clearing with a few tracks around through it. Heaps of possums at night time aswel. Watch out for deep holes on the outside of corners in the creek. Its a tiny creek but could probably catch you out i you tried hard enough. There are also sometimes cows knocking about in there. And heaps of gorse.
Also the drive from just past the bog up to Tongue point can be good fun and gives awesome views.
Have a good one.

Are you talking about the bog thats in the area where CCVC do driver training? Its the bay just before cave bay, as you go into the big puddle/bog place theres lots of places for practising failed hill climbs?

pfft, devils gate. I seem to remember someone saying, a few threads back, that they could drive a 2wd around there. Standard discos can do it easily. My series rover could do it easily. Maybe its a landrover thing

And the number of vehicles that got stuck just getting to the bowl area on the last CCVC training trip were a large number as well......

Ok so who is actually going and who are newbies and don't have towhooks? (camera's are a must for when Mr Offroader gets stuck again!!!)

Do people want to go over the gate or the easier no damage long gulley track...could probably put in some training for those that want it....
