In that case a body lift or guard cutting is the way forward, an aftermarket suspension lift will likely only include uprated torsions/shocks for the front, and they will not allow you to lift it any higher. Cutting the guards is pretty easy, I did mine with a pair of tin snips and a crescent. Cut all the way around about an inch lower than where you want it to end up, then fold an edge with the crescent, slap some paint on and done. Bit rough but does the job on an old POS.
