Re: ORE moving to new address
Can we have sticky threads. We can keep common parts, repairs, modsvand stuff at the top for each sub forum for newbies to see. It would save them from having to search or ask questions like would this tyre size fit my pos, Or what oil to use to use in my tranny (no, not that kind), etc.

Re: ORE moving to new address
Ok on pc the site is good.
On mob phns i can only get the title to each subject and its author. What i would like it to see how many posts there has been and who was the last author. That way i dont have to open each topic to find there has been no further discussions.
Otherwise keep up the good work

On your phone don't you get the 'view unread posts' on the main page? Near the top left, fourth line down?

Re: ORE moving to new address
Ok i found the button. For those who cannot find it you must go back to the start button with board index. Then there are four options after that. One being view active topics and another view unread topics etc
Cheers guys

Re: ORE moving to new address
Site looks cool.
It would be cool if the new banner wasnt just pictures of Toyotas again
Sometimes people see it and think it is just a Toyota site, which it isn't
Avatars for non-supporters.. is there still a supporter option? I need to renew.
I like to Imagine how much this site could be developed as a local community if everyone was willing to cough up a measly $20 a year for site maintenance... you could have dedicated tech libraries, a track library, vendor discounts and various other bonuses for supporters.
$20 is nothing and it shows people are making a vested interest in maintaining the site as a portal for 4x4 activity in NZ, and recognize that there is a lot of behind the scenes work done in order to keep the site active and in good shape.

Site looks great. But why is the user info on the right. Every other forum I have ever seen the user is on the left? Kinda weird.

It was the only decent mobile theme I could find. I will try and change it back to the left. It's missing altogether on tablet and mobile so shouldn't hurt to try and move it back.

I kinda liking it this way round. Easier to read the posts without being distracted by all the wee pictures...

http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz is being retired and http://www.offroadexpress.kiwi will be effective after this weekend. Incase I stuff up the redirect and you can't find the site that's where it will be.
Some will like it, some will hate it
, most probably won't care
.
Oh- redirect didn't work (for me). My bookmarked link (http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums) takes to a message
"Site off-line
Gone to the shed, be back soon. "
I tried http://www.offroadexpress.kiwi and got message " Under construction please come back later"
Ended up getting in by typing http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz which redirected to h ttp://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/index.php
Hope this helps with redirecting others back

Viewing on my LG optimus. Awesome layout, but if you click on any pictures to enlarge them it wont let me scroll accross to the left side of the pic.

This is the second part of the move, which is going to happen in about 20 mins.
The site will go offline on the old server on the old domain. I will then bring it back online on the new server on the new domain. Then the internet will take its 1 hour to 72 hours to filter through the internet the changes. So it will start slowly coming back online for people.

Or you could just access it via www.offroadexpress.kiwi straight away instead of waiting for www.offroadexpress.co.nz to make the change through the internet.

Looks cool but when it came back online I couldn't log in as the site wouldn't accept my password. I had to do a new password via email to get back on.
