Since some of you are mumbling about the weather I'll tell you about ours. About half way through Sat the cloud cleared and was a beaut afternoon. The evening was still, warm and moonlit, Sunday dawned bright and clear with an awesome sunrise, the day was warm and sunny till about 3pm when the cloud came over but still pleasant till this morning!
Good thing was all the rain through the week made the tracks muddy:)

Fitted some longer shacles to the rear of the cruiser, fixed the heater controls. Now just need a new resistor pack for the fan motor, measured up the PTO winch that I bought tried to work out how to fit it but thats as far as I got.

Did the Rere run - much better than watching the rain out of the window at home. The rain didn't really affect that pumice country much anyway and when Scott says it's gonna be a harder track than last year you get a harder track!

you might want to check that your transferbox has got the PTO drive gear in it if you havent already done so. Some have the gear and some just have a spacer on the shaft where the gear goes

Pic's ???
Do you do this to improve your exit angle ??
Not exactly.... after my little mishap at Pete's place the drivers side rear 1/4 was pretty much beyond repair so chopping the 1/4s were the easiest option. I still have to finish welding up the tear in the bodywork and figure out what i am going to do about lights because the bodywork is so twisted that the original lights dont fit back.
I'll grab some pictures tonight.
