Bummer Nibs :x
I'm at work the next 2 night's hope I don't go to any car fires, will let you know if I come across it.
On a side note I went to a car fire one night, next day a m8 rings me and tells me his car got stolen, had to break the bad news that I'd attended one the same as his, he goes and looks at it...was his...no insurance, gutted for him, and you Nibs :!:

To be honest, you should hope it doesn't show up and you get paid out.
You never know how long the bastards had it sitting on the rev limiter, dumping the clutch etc etc.
It would never be the same again, even knowing some little bugger and his mates thrashed your pride and joy

***UPDATE***

well well bloody well....

sittin at work last week and the cell phone goes off with a 'confidential caller'.. hmmmmmmmmm

i answer the phone and its a cop sayin to go out to an addy in rangiora so i can id my car...! "you feckin beauty" i say and i'm off running..

get there and theres my car mat's and number plates... er... um... ok... not far now... :?

couple of days after i get another call from the 5-0 and its an officer from the c.i.b sayin we got ya car, complete, we've finished the fingerprinting, when can ya come and pick it up?

"NOW!" says nibs and off he sets again! get there and the bitch has been brutalised.. changed out the rims, swapped out the nismo clock for stocko versions, firewall played with, stereo and gear lever changed, id plates all gone, rear spoiler removed, window wipers gone too, dings smacks and scrapes all around her, and a nice layer of burnt rubber on the inside of the wheel arches..

as i finish lookin at her i'm tempted to walk away with her, but couldnt do that... had to tell the fuzz that i infact had been paid my insurance and that the car was technically no longer mine but in reality the insurance companys.. *sigh*

found out that the car was found at a residential address just around the corner from me.

sat in her one last time, said my goodbyes and shut the door.. then i kicked the bitch and walked away..

so that brings closure to that saga finally..
