Is there a land Rover in that picture???
Anyway I think it's great that you can cover it up - very swish job indeed!

After the little offroad test found the auto rear step not that good..
It made like a spade filled it's self with mud
& when filled with mud every bump I drove over the step would drop down & bang up... solution...
For most Take It OFF!!
but with Kids who love riding in the back the step is great so....
Lock it!!
Unlocked! the silver tab act's as a weight stopping the bolt undoing it's self & doubles as a wing nut
Locked

All good til you rip a sidewall or damage a rim, buying a full sized spare tyre may cost, but imagine if your tyre repair in a can don't cut it.
Having said that I didn't get an extra Creepy as a spare, but I am getting a 9.00/15 or 16 SAT as a spare, still have 5 33 inch tyres to use as spares at the moment.

I carry spare Cv, and free wheeling hub, spare oils, spare belts and a spare tyre, they are WAY more likely to break (touch wood) than the gearbox etc. And with a blown diff/gearbox etc I can still be towed, and I don't drive a landy either...

All that talking got me thinking

I will try to get a wheel spacer made up to change LR to standard 6 stud
So if i do destroy a tyre or wheel it will open up my options to borrowing a jap wheel to limp home on

Castor corection bushes are good for a quick fix.
But it creates another problem it wears out the radius arm to chassis bush faster and also use loose some artic as the radius arm will now be going through the radius arm bush at angle rather than straight.
The radius arms I have are cranked so it sits straight in the bush.
They also are made with 3 degrees of castor so all you need to do is replace the bushes with standard ones.
But at the end of the day it boils down to cost.
I have 4 offset castor bushes for sale if anyone wants them make an offer.
2 bushes will do around 2-3 inches of lift and 4 will do 4-5 inches of lift
Bushes are made by nolathene
