Re: P.O.S build..

i farkin hate diff heads.. put a locker in the rear.. 4.3's now rather than a 4.5..
Image

had to drill new locations on spring perches to locate the diff further back as i was paranoid the new tyres might not clear the mufflers, so drilled perches to locate front diff more forward.. turns out it wasnt needed as much..

put it under ole vomitron.. not sittin on the diffs yet as need to sort ubolts... will drop front by approx 3 inches and rear by approx oober....
Image

so both diffs, front ifs'd, under.. (still sittin on axle stands...)
Image

and due to ifs hub swap and ifs lux rear diff, better width track is acheived..

alternator issue sorted thanks jezza.. big fuse inline from alt to ignition..

ubolts all sorted with spring plates and sittin on all 4's..
Image

took stoopid mistake of cross over steer and longer studs off and put standard 40 series steering arms on because with a little adjustment from the tie rod ends, the standard 40 tierod will be the perfect addition between the hubs. this way i'll use the 40's tie rod end to link up to the steering box..

thanks mnc.. :P

rear shocks in, rear brakes hooked up, breather on rear diff, fire extinguisher mounted, front guards cut and reshaped, front tie rod adjusted and in, drivers seat bolted up, driveshafts made (thanks jeremy!!) for front and rear, new radiator shroud made up cos last unit would not suffice. the fans i'm goin to use would be too close to the engine and need the extra depth and width to utilise all the radiator fins.. calipers milled a tad to be able to centre them on the front discs..

driveshafts on. front calipers fitted and hooked up.
