The Disco's a mild 2.1m had to adjust the garage door to get her out
My original calc's had it close to the garage with 35"s + 50mm body lift & the same spring lift

but decided it was too fine

Just yesterday I had to go to the courts on Durham Street (Christchurch) Was running late so headed into the Town hall parking building. I notice it said 2m height limit, I didn't know my height but headed in any way but braked quick when I got to the level indicator, it hit my aerial and 'just' scraped the roof. I didn't have time to go find another park so proceeded anyway. With the aerial going ting ting ting on every pipe and brace on the ceiling I winced as I went under the main supports and chose the closest park. Just fitted the width and had to tuck the mirror in and park well back so I could get the door open around a sign. On the way out I brushed a hanging canvas sign and dodged the ornamental lights hanging down but had no incidents. I just measured my truck at 1.97 meters.

You Lucky
Braking quick is not a good Idea
I found out the hard way went flying into a car park in my work van,
as I shot under the main beam I thought it looked a tad low so braked hard, the bum came up & I almost tore the back door off

85 BJ 'Cruiser, 33" muds, 2" spring and 2" shackle lift, sits at 2.15mtrs, there abouts, had to raise garage door mechanism to get it in the shed, can't get into a lot of parking buildings either, which is a bummer. Gnarly winch bar on front makes most people move outta tha way......

Mines a BJ74 with 33" muds but no spring or shackle lift and I'm sitting at about 18cm lower than you. My two large mesh-protected spotties are what people in small cars see when they look out the rearview.

Got a pic I've been meaning to put in here for a while. Will get around to it one day.
Its the millimeter (I shit you not) clearance between my rack and a support beam I was parked under at Riccarton mall. I made it under the sign going in and hit the one on the other side of the building on the way out! There was concrete around some the the bolts that stick up out of the rack. Don't know how I made it over the speed humps.

shite its been over a year since this thread was active
just went out and measured mine, bit hard to do, but came in around 1.9 tall
my problem is with the drive thru at the Johnonville McDonalds in Welly
I have to virtually nudge the wall with the left front in order to get the right rear to miss the building by inches
shes a tight drive thru that one, for the length of the 80
have on the odd occasion when ya rock in there with brain fade, had to reverse a few times to make the corner

Mine is 1930mm on 35x12.5 BFGs and 293mm under the diff. Thats with the tyres blown up for the road.
I have a 50mm spring lift and a 30mm body lift. I can't see any advantage in going higher as it only increases the centre of gravity and stops a person going under fallen trees.
I have a 75mm lift in the deck to stop floatation an increase departure angle.
Cheers Richard

totally agree too many trucks are set up for the wow factor, I have a 40mm body lift that if I could I would remove but the timing belt cover will hit the bonnet.
Best advise I was given was choose the tyre size you want then modify to suit that and no more
Cause at the end of the day your diff heads will always be the lowest part

Add me to that list, built mine up around simple needs, 33 inch tyres max , keep the COG low (hilux's are really good to modify due to very squat body), widened wheel track, to help further, and of course beam axles and coils on all 4 corners.
finished height 1840mm to roofline, lower roofline than the unmodified family 4x4

(bighorn)
Quite a few in the US have started keeping their trucks as low as they can on the big tyres, don't quite know what to think of the look but the idea certainly has merit
here's a pic of one on 37's
