I have just been talking to Runva "about five minutes ago"
I set every one wrong , The bulk of the winches do not arrrive until the 24th As I was talking to him he said he was doing invoices for the rest of the people and they will be notified in the next few days

"SO DONT WORRY"

Sadly as the winches have to go through customs he said they will not be released intil possible 5th-8th DEC

He will keep me informed

We still have to get the winches down south??

Hey Tim would you be keen to trailer all the appropriate winches down as far as Hamilton?
Then hopefully someone else will be able to move them down to Wellington etc so we can move all the winches south and keep every ones freight costs to a minimum??

Any volunteers???

Yes could do but don't have a decent trailer, depending on how many, could just put them in the back of the Surf and drop off to people in Hamilton and then someone near Hamilton to take further down the line.

 I reckon there are a few things that need to be sorted to make this distribution smooth

1, I guess we will need all the winches paid for before the supplier releases them for us to distribute?

2, would this mean if one person mucks around paying, we will all have to wait for him/her?

3, Will each winch then be individually labeled with its owners Name and address?

4, is there an updated eta on when all the winches will be available?

I have just received an email saying the winches are all in port in Auckland and he is sending invoices out via email now also.
Are we in a position to move these winches ourselves or are we just going to pay freight on them?
my invoice includes $60 freight to Nelson which I think is very reasonable

Wheres Graham gone? he was doing well organising all this

I'm prob just going to go with the delivery due to the speed of it as i need to make some bars asap as i dont have bumpers at the moment.

Same here. Just payed the guy to include the delivery.
$60 to Nelson, $65 to Wellington :?:
This is for an EWX12000 including the mounting plate, might explain the extra charge.

Glad I got the mounting plate, after seeing how easy it makes it to mount these on Discovery's following 1BAD4X example. Then I just have to build an ARB lookalike bumper around it.

I got mine through Repco with trade card and it was around the $200 mark I think, was about 18 months ago so could be a bit off but it was pretty reasonably priced.
I also got a fused battery terminal at the same time. Projecta recommend running a heavy fuse in the dual battery system.

Perhaps time for another group buy? I need to find the space for a second battery and also buy a winch first though.

Funny,
I even got a nice email saying "Thank you" after paying him.
Winches are due to be shipped on Monday so most of us should start seeing them probably from Wednesday onwards. Guess it depends on how quick PBT are.
The winches have just arrived at the port so would like payment sorted for when the goods are ready to be sent out on Monday the 10th of Dec.
