Yep, i would agree with that, its got toyota 6 stud hubs on it, so chances are its just a highly modified hilux axle. That was my guess when i was crawling around under it at the last couple of meets
Grab some measurements of the axle shaft, whats left of the cv joint, and especially spline counts, one of the toyota buffs will tell ya what toyota its off

Trying to remember what was on my repairs list from that last round.
Think it was:
Replace Steering "J" link
Adjust rear brakes again
Clean carb again
Replace fuel filter
Fix hole in oil tank that i made by accident when i slipped with a stanly knife while modifying the air intake at the last round
Go find somewhere that has water so i can wash it after last time as well. There's only just enough to keep the bulls alive at home
The mission begins tonight

do you have to have a navi for laurie sanson
for some reason i didn't think it was compulsory

No a navi is not required .
If its close to home and you are free for the day come along and enter , think its only $5 , seems cheap . Anyway then you can come and watch and if you think its ok you can drive the hazzards you like and sit out the ones you don't .
Once you see it thou , doubt you will sit any out . Can be as easy or as hard as you want to be on your truck .

What he said!!!!!
Although a did break another rear axle and a couple of T.Case mounts. I had spares with me this time, and had it fixed and ready for the next hazard in just over 15mins
Looking forward to getting the "official" results for the day

What they said!!!
good event, ran pretty smooth, its our third trial now and learning all the time
couple "brain fart" (cheers diesel) moments when fell asleep right before a hill climb i think we were only ones not too climb.
and afterwards hitting the biggest climb of the day with about 5000 rpm then needed lol.
Thanks to the guys who rushed over and secured us to the hill.
in all honesty seeing spectators scramble out of the way before getting squished by purple bubble gum suzuki is kinda kool though,(happened last time too) gives them bit of excitement................and us
