my brothers hilux .. has now been fully coiled with prado running gear and hada 1kzte put in it with manual fuel pump along with sum 37inch tires

back when it was red up at the bombing range


as of today with brand new 33x12.5x15 mudstars

Alloy rims? Prefer the steelies

Then it got a turbo fitted then rears into the front bar work and the last mod was a coiled rear diff

Never thought Id own one but here we are,what can I say,it was cheap!

the recent race would have seen at least 2 bent rims on my truck due to its width with steel rims. the alloys are wider again and still sweet...a little marked up but still sweet

thats my old truck! im in te awamutu and i sold it to a guy in auckland about 4 years ago. i got it from a guy in putaruru, it was origionally built by a guy called moose, i put those seats in and painted it blue and quite a few other things as it was a wreck when i got it. it was a holden 186

Not got many photos so far and no action shots but here's the truck pretty much as I bought it a couple of years ago:


Since removing the roof, getting some new wheels, 33x12.5 tyres and a home-made snorkel:


Mods to come, shackle reversal and a smallish lift, turbo on the 3b, power steering and possibly some other bits and pieces. Nothing too crazy, keen to see how capable I can get it without 37s and sky high suspension.

Will take some photos of my 60 series daily driver/parts transporter/standby trip truck soon.

Was a bit chilly for the 40 this morning with the roof off but I couldn't help myself.

Spotted near fairlie

now with 35" creepies on 10" rims

don't stick out as far as I thought they would

but holy crap you gotta hold on tight between 50 - 60kph

would help if the bloody tyre shop had a balancer that was actually bolted to the floor instead of trying to walk off the pallet as we spun them up

I wanted to bolt it to the floor , but the boss said no . and its looking good mate , now keen to see it in action
