cheers steve.. :D

the wastegate will clear easily.. its got about 1.5 inches when open and is recessed back into the turbo a fair bit too.. i was merely meaning that the wastegate side didnt flow as nicely as the exhaust side does with the bend etc..

well, started off marv when my co2 ran out, dammit..

so went on to do other things..

flushed the gearbox and both transfers to remove any rex, er, shiat that might be in there and filled anew...

nibified up a new transmission tunnel cover.. had to do a custom jobby to accomodate the changed gearbox and transfer levers.. so opened up the tub further back than stock and more up the tunnel.. cut out and bent a 3mm sheet to take some gear lever boots and whammo.. not painted cos its my junker..

what a hectic time xmas is... jebus..

well, the first panhard idea was rexhouse as i had a heim on each end and as my panhard has an upper bend in it, when sittin the panhard tended to lop forward and back (like rexo's head after a session of rumbo's). for revised version i went to a bush and tapped a thread to suit the thread in the panhard end and welded that to the bush..

craptastic version...
Image

and the besterest version..
Image

which sits in the panhard chassis mount goodly.. (yep, i'll put spacers / washers either side of it..
Image

finished off the front upper and lower control arms to take the heims and threaded ends...
Image

which are gonna use these chromoly heims and some spacers to get the most out of em too..
Image

made a chassis mount for the top arm..
Image

fizzed it in..
Image

managed to situate the bolt/nut location so on the outside of the rail, the angle i used as bracketing/support would be used as a mode of keepin a trimmed up nut captive for ease of installation etc.. also used the same bush as the panhard to keep things tighter at the top end as driveshaft etc is there.. room's not a commodity..
Image

after lookin at how the front end was *awaits comments on that line*, i wasnt happy so took off the front left control arm mounts from the diff and nibified up a new one to incorporate the bumpstop hittin pad bit thang, aswell as the control arm.. dual purpose adapter.. (sorta like rok) Image
Image

then i glued the beasty on...
Image

a pic of the top mount on the front diff.. and the drivers side bumpstop, fizzed above the control arm mount.. this'll utilise the panhard mounts bush as a pad to sit on.. seein as it'll only contact on full crush, its ok as theyre a pretty nuggety bush..
Image

then theres the pipework goin from the turbo to the engine.. it has a takeoff welded and plumbed for fitment ..
Image

fitment of what? da da daaaaaaaaaa
Image

A RICE GAUGE!!

cheers for the kind words you cheeky fawks... Image

finished the bumpstop on the passengers side.. sittin under full junker weight..
Image

and the drivers side on full crush too..
Image

and seein it was quite hot, i'd had the sprinkler on and my little joey thought it would be wise to play under it, in the garden, then proceed to wrap up my spray bottle with dadda's insulation tape.. shot kid.. i got heaps more, go for it..
Image

so anyhoo, this is the front of my junker sittin on bumpstops and supportin its own weight... looks a bit cockeyed as i've not done the front bib completely yet, plus i've made the drivers side a little more restricted due to the pitman clearances.... the axle stands are there, not takin any weight, for security purposes as i was lowering it down.. (cos ya never know huh?) :D
Image

all i can say is thank goodness xmas, 1st birthday and new years are out of the way!! Image

originally the upper arm mount for the rear arms was lookin like this.. but after running the numbers through the calc, it spat out some shizenhouser numbers..
Image

so trimmed it up a tad and made this a couple of inches higher, cos as we all know, its all about the inches.. especially bein a yoshi.. chucked some heims in too..

Hahahaha!!!!

"5. A very popular term at the moment, especially with college kids, which means a very bad blowjob. Can also reference a guy giving a gay blowjob. "Yeah, we went to that party last night, and Sally gave me a Felheim."

cheeky fawkers... :P

thankyou for the keen words of incouragement..

mounted the front onto the forward body mount outriggers, tube to strengthen between and a bit of angled top action for more strength.. still gotta trim up the edges a tad.. eventually it'll run on into a slider to other body mount..
Image

Image

so it all lines up like this..
Image

and sits from front like................
Image

new front approach angle.. and yeah, i'll trim off that front, when i'm done, just by where the chassis goes from black to greeny.. just a handy bit to lift vehicle from for now..
